2. Industry Stalwarts & Collaborative Leadership

One of the most engaging aspects of the event was the gathering of key stakeholders, industry executives, and delegates engaging in warm interactions and high-level discussions.

  • Leadership Conversations: Leaders and executives engaged directly with attendees, sharing insights into the plant's operational capabilities and strategic vision.

  • A Visionary Industry Network: From informal discussions during networking sessions to standing alongside high-tech plant backdrop displays, the sense of collective purpose was clear.

Why This Plant Matters for India

🏭 1. Boosting Domestic Manufacturing

Historically, India has relied heavily on imports to meet its growing demand for Phenol and Acetone. AdPerMa's massive production capacity—345 KTPA of Phenol and 215 KTPA of Acetone—will significantly reduce import dependency and bolster domestic supply chains.

🔗 2. Seamless Integration with Haldia Petrochemicals

Leveraging HPL’s existing infrastructure in Haldia, the plant benefits from direct access to essential feedstocks like Benzene and Propylene. This strategic integration ensures high operational efficiency, supply reliability, and cost competitiveness.

💼 3. Powering Key Downstream Industries

Phenol and Acetone are essential raw materials across a wide spectrum of essential industries, including:

  • Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare

  • Plywood, Laminates & Adhesives

  • Coatings, Polymers & Resins

  • Refractories and Foundries

Looking Ahead: A New Chapter in Industrial Resurgence

The launch of AdPerMa's Haldia plant is more than just a capacity expansion—it sets the foundation for downstream specialty chemical ecosystems across Eastern India. As the facility ramps up to full production, it will propel regional economic growth, create thousands of direct and indirect jobs, and firmly position West Bengal as a major petrochemical hub.

Congratulations to the entire team at AdPerMa, Haldia Petrochemicals Limited, and The Chatterjee Group on achieving this remarkable landmark!
