Kolkata, August 2026: Dr. Siddhartha Pandey met Shri Dudh Kumar Mondal to present a strategic proposal on the use of drone technology for agricultural applications through Kripa Agritech.
The meeting focused on exploring how advanced drone-based solutions can support farmers, improve agricultural productivity, and promote technology-driven farming practices. Dr. Pandey highlighted the growing role of drones in modern agriculture and their potential applications across different stages of the farming cycle.
The proposed initiative through Kripa Agritech aims to leverage agricultural drones for activities such as crop monitoring, precision spraying, aerial assessment, field surveillance, crop health analysis and agricultural data collection. Such technology can help farmers make more informed decisions while improving efficiency and reducing unnecessary use of agricultural inputs.

Dr. Pandey also emphasised that the adoption of drone technology can contribute towards creating a more efficient, sustainable and data-driven agricultural ecosystem. With appropriate training, operational support and awareness among farmers, drones can become an important tool for precision agriculture.
The proposal further seeks to explore opportunities for creating a scalable model that can benefit the farming community by bringing modern technology closer to the grassroots level. Through Kripa Agritech, the initiative aims to facilitate the practical deployment of drone-based agricultural solutions and contribute to the broader vision of technology-enabled rural and agricultural development.
The meeting with Shri Dudh Kumar Mondal marks a significant step towards exploring collaborative opportunities in the field of agricultural innovation, drone technology and farmer empowerment.
As India continues to embrace emerging technologies across sectors, initiatives such as this can play an important role in transforming traditional farming practices and creating a smarter, more productive and sustainable future for agriculture.
